Jennifer graduated from Ana G. Mendez University of Puerto Rico in 2010 with two bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Hospitality Management. From there she went on to have a 10-year career as an events coordinator in the tourism industry of her native country. Through this experience, Jennifer developed her skills in marketing and sales, as well as becoming an experienced event planner, and client relationship builder.
In March of 2020, Jennifer was left without a job because of COVID-19 restrictions and it gave her the opportunity to step out on her own and become a freelance virtual assistant for small business owners. Entering the digital marketing industry was one of her main career goals, and in this new endeavor, she developed web maintenance skills, focusing on WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace websites for small businesses, as well as starting to manage their web projects, social media advertising strategies, web and social media writing content, and email marketing.
Though Jennifer is proud to be a Puerto Rican, she moved from her beloved island to reside in beautiful Colorado on her pursuit to expand her freelance career. When she’s not supporting the dream projects of her clients, she spends her time reading fiction and fantasy novels, watching documentaries on Netflix and Hulu, and visiting as many parks and music festivals in Colorado as possible.
