Rebecca Miller has been a music industry professional for nearly thirty years, beginning her career at the early age of fourteen as a performing singer-songwriter and later stretching into management and support roles for herself and other artists. Until 2018, Rebecca supported her artistic pursuits with work in hospitality, gleaning customer service experience through serving, bartending, and management roles.
Like many artists with limited resources, Rebecca learned how to manage and promote her own career. An innate preference for detail and organization coupled with a knack for marketing and social media led her peers to take notice of her drive and capabilities. The past five years have seen her steadily growing her resume with work in event production, tour management, social media marketing and management, content creation, PR, artist management, organization, and admin assistance. She is wildly thorough and detail-oriented, and extremely proud of being both. Transparency, community, collaboration, and creativity are paramount in her working and personal relationships and she is known for maintaining grace under pressure, a clear and kind communication style, and her Grandpa Bill’s stoic work ethic. She is also quick to laugh, and consequently, a fan of really bad jokes. It should also be noted that she is an excellent dancer.
Rebecca found her way to Trusty Oak via the recommendation of a friend and fellow artist who works as a virtual assistant. She is grateful for the opportunity to find exciting and fulfilling work through the platform while she continues to write her next album and pursue other creative projects. She is perhaps most excited for work that can travel with her, as she has a brand new niece back in Pennsylvania that needs to get loved on as often as possible. When she’s not making music and spreadsheets, you can find Rebecca tending to her many houseplants, taking a long walk in nature, working on an embroidery project, or cuddling up to one of her two absolutely perfect cats.
