Her expertise spans graphic design, social media management, email marketing, and website development, complemented by a strong foundation in administrative, technical, and customer service roles. With a strategic mindset and a passion for impactful solutions, Lindsey delivers results-driven outcomes for her clients.
Why did you choose to be a VA, and why does this lifestyle work for you?
I decided to move into contracting for a more flexible and rewarding lifestyle. While it’s been challenging, I’ve enjoyed being my own boss and meeting clients in the process.
What made you choose Trusty Oak?
I chose to become a VA with Trusty Oak because I appreciate what the organization stands for and that we are all like-minded individuals who want to help others. 💚
What’s your superpower?
I gravitate towards anything that allows me to use my creative juices.🎨 Whether it’s designing bold graphics or crafting strong messaging, I’m all for it! I also like to edit copy and documents to make them sound more professional or interesting.
Describe your favorite place to work from.
I prefer working from home and being surrounded by my fur-coworkers 🐶
What is your top program/app that makes your life easier as a VA?
I love Canva! While I’m a graphic designer who has worked in Adobe for over 15 years, I think it’s more convenient with images and graphics all in one place. You can also create brand guidelines for clients to utilize long after you’ve worked with them.
What hobbies or Interests do you enjoy?
I enjoy spending time with family, playing softball, spoiling my two Goldendoodles, traveling to new places, and going to sports games. As a native Marylander, I am, naturally, a fan of the Baltimore Orioles. I’m also a big Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan with my family from Western PA – Go Burg!
Describe your dream client.
They would love to collaborate as much as I do and have the same value for marketing and communications. My dream client would be open to new, innovative ways of doing things, whether it be as simple as file organization or how they are scheduling out content. I am all about efficiency and staying on top of the latest trends!
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself doing exactly what I’m doing now – focusing on meaningful work and making more time for myself and my family.
Describe your perfect day off.
I would spend it with my furbabies and take them to the park. I’d also go check out a local restaurant—I like to travel solo and try something new!
