Alisha has an AA in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. She is currently pursuing a Human Resources Certification and BA in Communications at Tarleton State University. Her career experiences include business operations and start-ups for comedy clubs, restaurants, and photography. She worked as a marketing director and event coordinator for eight years. Her current position as a Senior Leader for the Supplemental Instruction Department at Tarrant County College requires her to organize activities, manage projects, coordinate meetings, create and execute department trainings, and manage and organize shared files and calendars in both Microsoft 365 and Google Suite. She organizes, schedules, and facilitates department meetings, as well as growth and development opportunities in both a virtual and in-person setting. She was a key player in moving the department to a completely virtual working environment during the pandemic. This involved strategic planning and training in a very short amount of time while maintaining constant communication with supervisors and the administrative team, as well as communicating and directing a team of employees below her.

Alisha currently resides in Fort Worth, TX with her son and their beagle. She loves to learn and is always trying to satisfy her curiosity. She is obsessed and truly passionate about health and wellness. You might catch her at a yoga studio or on the water kayaking or paddle boarding with her son. As a wanderlust, she is always looking for adventure and traveling to new places.
