Amanda thrives on being organized and finishing tasks on time. Before becoming a virtual assistant, Amanda spent 10 years in the education field as a teacher. While teaching, Amanda learned the importance of communicating, multi-tasking, planning and organizing. Her teaching background has shaped her work ethic and helped her become an effective communicator. Daily planning and communication were key between her and colleagues and Amanda learned how to work with people of all different work styles.
As a virtual assistant, Amanda applies that same work ethic to supporting her clients, quickly taking on tasks that give precious hours back to her clients for other high level activities. Amanda is a quick learner who strives to accomplish any task that she is assigned. She has considerable experience creating social media content along with creating and editing podcast show notes. Amanda also has valuable experience in event coordination, working with and coordinating volunteers, and organizing large scale fundraising activities that have donated over $20,000 for the American Heart Association.
When Amanda isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids (ages 6 months, 2 years and 4 years old). Life is busy with 3 little ones and when Amanda isn’t doing laundry or dishes after a long day, she enjoys reading a good book or taking the time to work out.
