Meet Trusty Oak Client, Mastery Transcript Consortium!
Mastery Transcript Consortium® (MTC), an ETS company, is a national and global nonprofit membership organization that helps make mastery learning—or competency-based education—available to all learners. MTC accelerates equitable access to and widespread implementation of mastery learning models, empowering students to showcase competencies and share evidence of their learning.
Exciting congratulations are in order! As announced last month, MTC has become a cornerstone of the Skills for the Future initiative, launched a year ago by ETS and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. This is a huge milestone for Mastery Transcript Consortium®, and we are thrilled to continue Trusty Oak’s support of their team.
MTC first sought executive virtual assistant services for its CEO in January 2022. The company’s CEO had a busy travel schedule and needed help with inbox and calendar management. A Trusty Oak VA alleviated him from several hours of admin each week and later began supporting other operations across the organization. In addition to providing executive support, Celestine Crews now juggles a variety of team needs, including updating MTC’s CRM, booking travel, tracking payments for software tools, and helping with research projects.
As the business’s needs adapted over time, MTC’s Trusty Oak CSM helped them partner with two more VAs—Erika Wirkala provides executive support for their Chief Program Officer, who leads work with all of their member schools, and Lauren Lyman manages MTC’s social media campaigns. Lauren collaborates with various members of the MTC team to create content, then designs graphics and schedules the posts. We are proud to support an organization that is impacting many students’ lives and the future of education by providing three talented virtual assistants who work about 40 hours per week across the organization.
