Amanda Boyd — Operations Oracle
Amanda Boyd began her career over 15 years ago as a bookkeeper, where she developed a passion for helping small businesses thrive. With a degree in Business Administration from Polk State College and a state accounting certification from Traviss Tech College, Amanda has extensive experience in onboarding clients and optimizing processes, particularly from her decade-long tenure with a telecom engineering firm. She aims to equip clients with the tools and services needed for efficient management and growth. A lifelong learner, Amanda holds degrees in Theological Studies and Alternative Medicine, and she teaches child-focused yoga. She enjoys outdoor activities in Florida and manages an eco-tourism group with a friend, offering educational kayaking and hiking trips. Amanda also has a blue tick hound named Boone.

Why did you choose to be a VA and why does this lifestyle work for you?
Being a VA means that I’m giving flexibility back to a small business owner to use their bandwidth in the most fruitful way possible. I’ve seen many entrepreneurs hesitate in following their dreams because of the overhead and responsibility required to have employees and as a VA, I get to come alongside them and fill in those gaps so they can concentrate on growing their business where it matters most.

I align with their vision to strategize with small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them to be more successful through the art of delegation.
What’s your superpower?
Operational Support – the ability to document and reform processes, creating a more efficient internal operations system.
Describe your favorite place to work from.
I’m in Florida, so I’ll take a beachside cafe on a Tuesday where there’s little traffic and a lot of sea breeze.
What is your top program/app that makes your life easier as a VA?
I appreciate good Project Management software – my favorite currently is Monday.
What hobbies or interests do you enjoy?
Kayaking and Teaching Kids Yoga
Describe your dream client.
I love a good back story – I want to know their Why and I appreciate Thought Leadership – the idea of teaching a man to fish and mentorship.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I am traveling more and continuing to work alongside entrepreneurs as a VA.
Describe your perfect day off.
My perfect day off would be a morning trip to the beach ending at the TB Rays stadium to watch them win.
