VA Spotlight — Jacqueline Koenig

This week’s VA we’re spotlighting is Jacqueline Koenig.

Jacqueline Koenig – Administrative & Marketing Virtual Assistant

Jacqueline served four years in the US Air Force in health services management, then pursued modeling and brand representation in the greater Los Angeles area. She then gained invaluable skills and experience through being a personal assistant for a start-up company in Orange County, CA, as well as in bar and restaurant management. From there, she jumped into freelancing and became a virtual assistant at the beginning of 2020.

Jacqueline is more than happy to utilize her work background to help you stay organized, on top of your scheduling, manage your social media, and on top of your data research/tracking. Jacqueline has always enjoyed writing and reading, having a passion for magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals. Her two biggest interests are social media management and podcast management; she has a passion for maximizing growth in small business and streamlining what works for her clients and her clients targeted customers.

Let’s hear from Jacqueline about her expertise and why she enjoys being a Trusty Oak VA.

Why did you choose to be a VA and why does this lifestyle work for you?

I chose to become a virtual assistant because it aligns with my life as a full-time mom and student. It allows the flexibility to work from any location, be it my home office, school, and even the peaceful mountains just 20 minutes away. Being a virtual assistant lets me select clients I genuinely enjoy working with, making my job more fulfilling. In addition to offering support to my clients, I am continuously gaining valuable insights and knowledge from the collaborative work.

What made you choose Trusty Oak?

I joined Trusty Oak as a virtual assistant because of its close-knit culture and the positive community Trusty Oak provides to all of us assistants. The genuine closeness and mutual respect within Trusty Oak creates a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. The very well-defined client onboarding process at Trusty Oak is amazing and done with purpose. Trusty Oak’s commitment in recognizing and appreciating individual strengths and qualities of all of us VAs helps to motivate and give pride to everyone that is a part of this great company. I am a research queen! From podcast guest research, to the latest marketing and trend analyses, to any type of general data research, I am here for it!

What is your top program/app that makes your life easier as a VA?

Calendly is a life saver- It has helped me keep my meetings organized in a very simple, user friendly way.

Describe your dream client.

My dream client has an entrepreneurial spirit. They enjoy being organized and likes having a clear structure in place. They’re not just about work—they also want their business to be a fun and positive place. Teamwork is a big deal for them, and they see their business as a team effort, valuing everyone’s unique contributions. They’re always eager to learn and grow, seeing challenges as opportunities to get better. I believe this mix makes them an amazing client to work with, creating a collaborative and enjoyable journey to success.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I will have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing (as well as a double major in entrepreneurship and psychology), hoping to work with an amazing small business, and possibly working on earning my MBA, as well.
